Strickland places 6th at SCCA June Sprints

Whitney Strickland placed 6th in the recent SCCA June Sprints at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI. The June Sprints required two qualification sessions one in which the track was still damp from the lake fog. Strickland ended up in P7 for qualification. The start of the race had an incident with the front running Gen3 class at turn 3 which caused the race to be restarted. The restart was in single file with all cars starting in their original positions. Strickland battled with Eric Vassian for most of the race passing each other three times then at the end Vassian made a mistake on the carousel which ope

ned up the 6th position for Strickland to take to the finish line.
