Strickland gets top 10 finish in new Gen3 at Sebring

Strickland took 9th place at the recent Sebring Winter Vacation SCCA Majors. It was a remarkable feat considering this was the first race weekend in which Strickland was racing his converted Spec Racer Ford Gen 3.

It was an exciting race with Strickland starting in 11th position and quickly getting into 6th on the first lap. His car started to have overheating issues which were only exasperated when there was a full course yellow for several laps and then at the restart wondering whether the car would make it he was passed by several cars and ended up in 9th place. Overall a good performance for the first racing in the new Gen 3.
