Strickland sweeps at MSR Houston Majors

Strickland won pole for both races and took wins in both at the recent MSR Houston 'Fun in the Sun' SCCA Majors. Strickland was racing his SRF Gen2 in order to qualify for points at the SCCA runoffs to be held at Mid Ohio in September. The first race included a major wreck at the start which Strickland barely got through unscathed and finished 1st in the SRF class and 7th overall with 14 cars racing. The second race was much more uneventful and Strickland took 1st in his class and 8th overall.
