Strickland goes from 35th to 9th in NOLA race

After blowing a transmission in practice Strickland missed a Saturday morning qualifying session which put him in last place for the Saturday race. The 35 car field of Spec Racer Fords had some of the top competitors in the country so getting any finish above 20th would have been extraordinary. A crash at the 1st turn and a lot of risky driving and passes enabled Strickland to end up a phenomenal 9th and keep up his points for the SOWDIV championship.
